In class we looked at chicken wings being dissected to learn about tissues and how they work in real life. As we watched we learned how muscle tissue moves the wing just like a human arm. The muscles were called the triceps and the biceps. Then we looked at the bones, which are also a type of tissue called connective tissue. Inside these tissues is marrow. Marrow creates your blood inside of bones. All of what is inside of a chicken wing is surrounded by fat and skin. With nerve tissue mixed in, this tells the wing how to move. Chicken wings model human arms because everything in a chicken wing is exact to a human arm.
